1. Always use the teller.
   • It cost the bank nearly $3 for you to come inside the branch and speak with a teller. So every time you use the atm you are saving the bank $3. Additionally if you don’t use their ATM you are actually paying them to do business with you. Get out of the car and walk in, think of it as your way of sticking it to them. At least write a check and have them cash it thru the drive thru.
2. Cash a 10 cent check.
   • If you do that they will actually lose $2.90 on you. Ha!
3. Carry More Cash.
   • Do you know if everyone in America carried just $50 more in cash combined we would take $15 billion dollars out of the banking system. You’re not earning anything on that money, why leave it there?
4. Don’t use your debit card.
   • The debit card is the best thing to happen to banks in years. It has generated more fees due to overdraft than any other scheme the banks have created. Use cash.
5. Don’t pay overdraft fees!
   • If your debit card triggers an overdraft fee do you realize that you are paying anywhere from 100% -3900% interest. That’s loan sharking! Those bankers just love when you overdraft. Your paying interest on those overdrafts that would make a pawnbroker blush.
